Long ago, in the now desolate Kingdom of Alfheim, A race who called themselves the Ljósálfar, or the “White Elves”, held a deeply embedded and long lasting belief in their own predetermined and divinely gifted superiority over lesser races, such as the likes of humans, and to the same extent, their own kind. Namely those of a “darker” make-up.
Such as the Dökkálfar, or dark elves, who, bearing a deeper complexion and black hair, were regarded with the same disdain as is usually reserved for the races of men, and those who were deemed to have been “tainted” by breeding with their kind, who were known as the Sindar, or grey elves.
